Questions about pdf to jpg / png

Should I choose JPG or PNG?

PNG is useful for sharp text and diagrams without JPEG compression artifacts. JPG can be smaller for photographs. Compare the downloaded results when file size or small print matters.

Why can’t I select the text in the exported image?

JPG and PNG store pixels rather than PDF text and links. To copy words, use your original PDF or the PDF-to-Word text extractor. Increasing image resolution does not make text editable.

Does this change my original file?

No. PDF to JPG / PNG creates a new downloadable file. The original on your device remains unchanged.

What should I do if processing fails?

Try fewer pages or a smaller file. Open the PDF in a trusted PDF editor to check for damage or encryption. Password-protected files must first be exported using the valid password. Image exports lose selectable text, links, and accessibility tags. High-resolution exports require more memory.

Will my files be saved here?

Working files are held in browser memory. Use Start over or close the tab to release the working state. Downloads remain on your device; this site cannot delete them.
