Take readable photos
Use even lighting and a flat surface. Avoid shadows, glare, and cut-off corners. Crop and straighten each photo before selecting it here.
Choose the page layout
Open Images to PDF, choose A4, and select portrait for most documents. Use landscape for wide images. A modest margin makes edges easier to read.
Balance size and detail
Start with high quality for small text. If the PDF is too large, reduce image quality and inspect the result. This tool does not guarantee a specific KB limit.
Review the final file
Check that names, dates, and small print are readable. Confirm the required page size and file-size limit directly with the receiving portal.
